Rimini, February 28, 2024 – City Green Light receives the “Lorenzo Cagnoni” Innovation Green Award with the LightAnalytics project, a solution for managing public lighting developed in collaboration with iSlmob, a spin-off of the University of Naples Federico II. The contest, organized by KEY 2024, is aimed at entities that have distinguished themselves in the development of cutting-edge products and technological solutions to promote the use of renewable energies and improve energy efficiency. The award ceremony was attended by Minister Pichetto Fratin.

Compared to traditional adaptive lighting, LightAnalytics allows the creation of a digital twin of urban mobility, ensuring the adjustment of lighting to changing urban conditions. It is a solution that integrates and interprets data made available by various systems in a location (such as traffic flow information collected by transport infrastructure and parameters related to lighting) to optimize lighting design, offering energy savings, increased road safety, and regulatory compliance. In addition, it allows local administrations to streamline Lighting Plans, reduce pollution, and provide precise and updated information to citizens.
